Detritus (2015). Instalación realizada in situ en el bosque de Valdelarco para el Proyecto ARTIERRA. Beca residencia para intervención en la naturaleza. Valdelarte, Centro de Arte y Naturaleza. Huelva.

DETRITUS
“Soñé que me despertaba en aquel sombrío bosque, entre negra maleza y fría vegetación. Por un momento creí que seguía la noche, que el tiempo había transcurrido más pausado de lo habitual. Mas, a duras penas, entre toda esa oscura materia que me envolvía, pude adivinar un claro de luz, parecido al recuerdo del Sol. Pero sólo soñaba…eso pensé.”
Detritus es la representación de esa materia que conforma el onírico bosque. Ser híbrido entre animal y vegetal, que succiona su alimento de la tierra, la parasita. Es el ciclo de la vida, donde esa misma masa volverá a ser parte de nuestro alimento, llegando el día en el que todos seamos un pellizco de ese pan contaminado…pero sólo soñaba…
Instalación realizada a base de cámaras de antiguas ruedas de tractor, mangueras de regadío y objetos encontrados. Esta reutilización de materiales olvidados y predispuestos a ser parte de la degradación medioambiental, invita a la reflexión del espectador acerca del consumo exagerado y el consecuente aumento de producción de basura no reciclable.

«I dreamed that I was waking up in that dark forest, among black undergrowth and cold vegetation. For a moment I thought that it was still the night, that the time had passed more slowly than usual. But, barely, among all the dark matter that surrounded me, I could guess a light of light, similar to the memory of the Sun. But I only dreamed … that’s what I thought. «
Detritus is the representation of that matter that forms the dreamlike forest. To be a hybrid between animal and vegetable, which raises its food from the earth, the parasite. It is the cycle of life, where that same mass will again be part of our food, arriving the day we are all a pinch of that polluted bread … but only dreamed …
Installation made from cameras of old tractor wheels, irrigation hoses and found objects. This reuse of forgotten and predisposed materials to be part of the environmental degradation, invites the reflection of the viewer about the exaggerated consumption and the consequent increase of production of non-recyclable waste.
